We collect the information you provide when getting in touch: name, email, phone number and event details (date, guest count, occasion, location, allergies and message). The site also generates technical log data.

We use the data to respond to enquiries, prepare quotes and provide the service. The legal basis is the preparation and performance of a contract and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.

We keep data for the duration of the customer relationship. Invoicing-related data is retained for the period required by Finnish accounting law (generally 6 years).

Data is stored in the Korppi system (operated by Easy Host Oy). We use service providers: Cloudflare (website platform) and Resend (email). We do not sell or share data for marketing. Some providers may process data outside the EU under appropriate safeguards (standard contractual clauses).

The site uses privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics. Cookie consent is managed with Cookiebot, through which you can view and change your consent.

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. You may lodge a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman. Requests: joona@umamicatering.fi.
