I'm Joona — chef and founder of Umami Catering. Behind me are years in busy professional kitchens, running my own catering business, and working as a private chef since 2012.

I cooked my first private dinner at home years ago and quickly saw how much more a restaurant evening gives you when it happens in your own home. No reservations, no rush — just good food, good company, and an evening the host actually gets to enjoy.

I plan every menu together with the client: around flavours, allergies, the season and the occasion. What matters most is that the evening feels like yours — I'll take care of the rest.
