I'm Joona — chef and founder of Umami Catering. Behind me are years in busy professional kitchens, running my own catering business, and working as a private chef since 2012.

An evening with a private chef isn't a restaurant evening — it's something more relaxed, and unforgettable for your guests. The atmosphere is your own: you enjoy your own wines in your own home, the kids can be there too, and there's no clock to watch. The menu is designed exactly as you wish. Going to a restaurant is always lovely — but this is something else.

I plan every menu together with the client: around flavours, allergies, the season and the occasion. What matters most is that the evening feels like yours — I'll take care of the rest.
